Pratt Alumni Painters Exhibition

Matthew Deleget, They Don't Love You Like I Love You, 2009, silver acrylic paint on four panels, hit with a hammer, 16 x 60 inches overall, each panel 16 x 12 inches.More than one dozen alumni who graduated within the last three decades are presenting their work as part of "Pratt Alumni Painters." The work of Pratt alumni has been displayed at many prominent museums, including The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Brooklyn Museum, as well as at museums and galleries internationally.

Work by Alumni at Pratt Pop-Up!

Gear from Dargelos, a bike shop launched in the Pratt Design Incubator for Sustainable Innovation, is now on display at the Pratt Pop-Up! shop at DeKalb Market. Next month, sustainable home furnishing designs and fashion accessories made by Indian artisans will be exhibited at the Pratt Pop-up! The venue is a rotating showcase for the extraordinary talents of Pratt students, faculty, and alumni, who include some of the world’s foremost artists, designers, and thought leaders.

"Art is Study: 36 Years of Process and Influence" Exhibition

This exhibition features the work of sculptor/designer Carlos Rodriguez (Mare139), a New York-based sculptor and painter who pioneered a novel version of urban graffiti as modern sculpture in 1985. Rodriguez has exhibited and lectured throughout the U.S. and Europe, lending his voice to the importance of arts advocacy and cultural literacy in order to ensure and promote the rich cultural legacy of urban arts.
