THANKSGIVING DINNER 2010
For those who could not go home for the holidays, Pratt’s Main Dining Room served as the site of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings. Approximately 145 students attended the buffet dinner, co-sponsored by Residential Life and Housing and CulinArt, whose staff and families donated their time to cook, prepare, and set up the lavish feast.
The dinner was free and featured deep-fried and oven-roasted turkey with sweet potato soufflé accompanied by an array of vegetables, generously donated by L. Dontis Produce Company, Inc. of the Brooklyn Wholesale Market. There were assorted pies for dessert along with coffee and tea to conclude Pratt’s Thanksgiving celebration on the Brooklyn campus.
