Alumni Meet at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens

Graphic Arts and Illustration ’60) Philadelphia-area alumni, trustees, and guests at Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens Philadelphia's Magic Gardens was the site of a cocktail party and tour sponsored by the Pratt Institute Alumni Association on April 4. The folk art environment with gallery space is a nonprofit organization that showcases the work of Pratt alumnus Isaiah Zagar (B.F.A. Graphic Arts and Illustration ’60), who was on hand to greet Philadelphia area alumni who turned out for the networking event.

Guests included Pratt Trustees David Pratt and Susan Hakkarainen, Dean Concetta M. Stewart, and the artist’s wife Julia Zagar. All present enjoyed an evening of connecting and sharing memories of Pratt. Zagar, who created the event space, briefly addressed the guests, saying, “It has always been a dream of mine to host Pratt friends here to see my work.”
