Teachers Teaching: A Collection of Photographs of Pratt Professors

Earlier this year Industrial Design Professor Bruce Hannah realized there was little visual record of his peers at Pratt, many of whom had been teaching at Pratt for decades. So, with funding received from the Academic Senate, he launched the Teachers Teaching project by commissioning M.I.D. candidate Chris Richard to photograph teachers in their element, doing what they love to do, be it teaching, creating, or just thinking. Hannah and Richard also asked each faculty member to give them a soundbyte, a credo they share with students.

“I would love to be able to extend this project and document every faculty and staff member on campus,” said Hannah. Teachers Teaching is on view in the President's Office Gallery through December.
