PANEL TO DISCUSS EXHIBITION 0 TO 60: THE EXPERIENCE OF TIME THROUGH CONTEMPORARY ART AT PRATT MANHATTAN GALLERY
Pratt Institute will host a panel discussion on January 23 focusing on participating artists' relationships to nostalgia, the passage of time, the past, and the present, as well as the use of contemporary versus antiquated techniques. The event is tied to 0 to 60: The Experience of Time through Contemporary Art, an exhibition that highlights the intersection of time and art, featuring artists who utilize innovative and experimental methods. Participants include: 0 to 60 curator Linda Dougherty; Lydia Matthews, professor of Visual Culture, Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons the New School for Design; and 0 to 60-featured artists Dan Bailey, Alison Collins, and Dan Estabrook.
