Symposium to be Held on Art Conservation, Archeology, and the Science of Art
The fourth annual Science and Art Symposium exploring the science behind artists’ materials, techniques, and conservation will be held on Pratt Institute’s Brooklyn campus from April 2-4. The symposium will include lectures on topics such as “Saving the Ancient City of Herculaneum,” and “Advances in Magnetic Resonance Applied to Art and Archaeology.”
April 2: Science and Art Symposium IV Plenary Talk: The Blues of Antiquity
April 3: Science and Art Symposium IV: The Science of Artists’ Materials, Techniques, and Conservation
April 4: Science and Art Symposium IV: Workshops on Novel Scientific Instrumentation for Art and Archeological Analysis.
