Scholastic Art & Writing Award Winners Show Work At Pratt Manhattan Gallery June 5–14
Pratt Manhattan Gallery hosts an exhibition of work by students in grades 7 through 12 that have won national awards from the Scholastic Art & Writing program. The program has a longstanding history of spotlighting promising young American artists, including previous winners like Pratt alumnus Robert Redford as well as Lena Dunham, Andy Warhol, Stephen King, and Joyce Carol Oates. The exhibition displays 134 pieces of intermingled photography, ceramics and glass works, and writing. This event is free and open to the public.
