Digital Arts Festival
Pratt will present a day-long event exploring digital arts on Saturday, September 21 from 10 AM–8 PM on the Brooklyn campus. The event, PHATT B – A Celebration of Digital Arts Brooklyn, will feature panel discussions, workshops, performances, screenings, exhibitions, and keynote presentations. PHATT B is an acronym for Pratt Hosts the Art of Technology Terminal-Brooklyn. Participants include Eva and Franco Mattes, pioneers in the net.art movement; Laura Blereau, director of bitforms gallery; Phoenix Toews, developer of Augmented Mountain; and artists Lance Wakeling, Andrew Norm Wilson, Stephanie Rothenberg, and Elisa Kreisinger. Participating Brooklyn galleries include Interstate Projects, 247365, Momenta Art, Nurture Art, Devotion Gallery, Cartune Xprez, and Transfer Gallery. Coordinated by Pratt Institute’s Department of Digital Arts, this event is free and open to the public and is sponsored by Art F City.
